What is architecture design?

Architecture design refers to the actual design and layout of spaces. Architecture encompasses many different elements including construction, design, and the manipulation of light as it relates to shadow. Throughout history, architects have found ways to create functional and practical spaces using any materials that were available.

To me, architecture design is about designing with a goal of fulfilling the needs of the audience. The design should complement its' surroundings and beautify it by adding factors that enhance the unique features of the environment.

Through design, we can change lives and motivate others by giving them an ‘ideal’ place that gives them what they need. For example, by creating a soothing environment in hospitals via architecture design, the patients will have a better resting area. With uplifted spirits, they will definitely be able to heal at a faster rate.
